For the next two weeks, Charleston’s churches, theatres, libraries, parks, and performance venues will host the sister events, Spoleto Festival USA and Piccolo Spoleto. Whether you prefer jazz or chamber music, ballet or opera, comedy or drama, you will find something (or many things!) to love during these festivals. The internationally acclaimed Spoleto Festival hosts artists, actors and musicians from around the world, while Piccolo Spoleto focuses on showcasing regional talent. Bring the family out to Marion Square on the weekends for special activities and the Outdoor Art Exhibit. The outdoor evening concerts set under the oaks at the College of Charleston’s Cistern Yard and the Festival Finale at Middleton Plantation are not to be missed.
