THANK A NURSE! National Nurses Week is celebrated May 6 (National Nurses’ Day) through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. In 1993, the American Nurses Association declared May 6-12 as the national week to celebrate and elevate the nursing profession. There are over 4 million registered nurses in America.
