“Best Summer Recipes for Senior Citizens”

Here are some of the best summer recipes for senior citizens — perfect for hot weather, easy to prepare, and gentle on digestion, while still packed with nutrients: 

🥗 1. Chilled Cucumber & Yogurt Salad 

Why it’s good: Cooling, hydrating, and easy to chew. Great for digestion. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cucumber (peeled, seeded, and sliced thin)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 
  • 1 garlic clove (minced) 
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill 
  • Salt & pepper to taste 

Directions:
Mix all ingredients and chill before serving. 

 

🍓 2. Berry Yogurt Parfait 

Why it’s good: Full of antioxidants, calcium, and fiber. No cooking needed! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
