There are many routine preventive screenings that Medicare covers at no cost to you. These include a yearly wellness visit, cardiovascular screening every 5 years, yearly mammogram for women ages 40+ as well as certain shots. Cervical and vaginal cancer screenings and prostate and colorectal cancer screenings are also covered with restrictions on age, sex, and frequency based on which test is being performed.
