Apparently it can be both!  If you love dark chocolate, feel free to indulge (in moderation) without guilt after reading this article from Everyday Health.  Research has uncovered many health benefits of dark chocolate, including its ability to lower cholesterol and reduce your risk for heart disease and stroke.  Stick to unprocessed chocolate with at least 65% cacao for the most benefit.
